Description
We shall discuss a novel ZN × ZM flavour symmetry which is capable of providing a solution of the
flavour problem of the standard model through the Frogatt-Nielsen mechanism. Flavour bounds on the
parameter space of the flavon of N = 2 and M = 5, 9 flavour symmetries will be presented. Moreover,
this symmetry can provide a unique and generic solution to the dark matter together with the solution
of the flavour problem.
