Technologies for Social Innovation (TeSI)
is a project course where, in this first round, student teams and their instructors collaborate with researchers at CERN to discover novel solutions for the future of humankind. The projects are an elaborate mixture where societal, human-driven needs meet R&D&I technologies in detection and imaging from the ATTRACT project.
The project course is done as a collaboration between IED Barcelona, UPC, ESADE Barcelona and IdeaSquare.
Directions on how to get to CERN here: https://home.cern/directions
When on CERN site, you can find the meeting venue IdeaSquare behind the Globe, across what is now the Science Gateway parking construction site. Walk past the Globe, through a gate in the fence, turn left, and you'll find IdeaSquare.
Internet
In order to get wifi access at CERN, you will need to register your laptop/mobile phone. For that, please fill in a request here: http://cern.ch/registerVisitorComputer - and use Ole Werner as the CERN contact person (on the last page of the request form).
