Transport from the airport and to the venue
The nearest station to the location of the meeting (Schuster Building, see below) is Oxford Road, and there are 200 direct trains per day taking about 20'. For others staying in downtown Manchester, there are also frequent direct trains to Piccadilly Station, which is about 20' away on foot from Schuster building. Train is generally faster than bus or taxis.
Bus 43 towards Piccadilly Gardens will also stop at the University Shopping Center (Stop D) and take about 1h.
If you need to use public transport to go to the venue, a single ticket (on and off one bus) costs up to 2 GBP, a day pass costs 5 GBP and a weekly bus pass is 18.50 GBP. Tickets can be bought on board with contactless or cash, or on the app.
