Quantum systems as manipulators of information: Entanglement, state complexity and information scrambling

by Dr Georgios Styliaris (MPI, Munchen)

Description

Quantum information theory offers a fresh understanding of quantum processes by analyzing them through the lens of computation. Here we will discuss from this viewpoint the complexity of preparing quantum states, as well as the ability of quantum dynamics to spread localized information across different parts of the system.
