The Be.HEP meeting will take place in the UMONS campus “Plaine de Nimy”, that can be reached from Mons train station in 20/25 minutes by walk. A limited number of blue-bikes is also available at the train station. The auditorium Marie Curie is located in the building Grands Amphis, see also the map of the campus:
Useful tips to reach Mons by train:
- Trains from Brussels to Mons are running every half an hour, starting around h:25 and h:56 from Midi station (please crosscheck the train schedule!);
- Direct trains from Liège to Mons are running every half an hour, while direct trains from Leuven to Mons are running every hour (please check the train schedule);
If you reach Mons by car, free parking lots are available around the campus (see the areas highlighted in the plan below). The access to the parking on the campus is restricted, but a limited number of extra cars will be admitted; if you wish to profit from this option, please contact andrea.campoleoni@umons.ac.be up to the day before the workshop.
