    Efficiency limitation for volume reflection of particles in a bent crystal due to the concurrent process of volume capture of particles into channelling states is discussed.     For the aims of comparison with the experimental data the calculations of the characteristics of the volume reflection process are presented. The calculations are based on the analytical description of the process. The obtained results are in a good agreement with experimental data which take place now.

    In presentation the interaction of 400-GeV protons with silicon monocrystals of various curvature radiuses is investigated. The main parameters of volume reflection effect are determined and the algorithm of their finding on the simulation and experimental data is given taking into account the initial beam distribution.
