Description
We present an inclusive search for events with two isolated leptons ($e$ or $\mu$) of the same electric charge in $pp$ collisions at $\sqrt{s}=7$ TeV. The data are selected from events recorded in the ATLAS detector in 2011. With a small Standard Model background, the same sign dilepton signature is a powerful testing ground for new physics. The distributions of kinematical variables are presented, and compared to the Standard Model predictions.
