In August and September 2023, an exciting event is scheduled for college students in Pakistan, featuring a Particle Physics Seminar and Quiz competition. This event will take place within the participating colleges and comprises two main parts. Firstly, there will be a 30-minute lecture on Particle Physics and the ATLAS detector at CERN, delivered by students from the Department of Physics at the University of Karachi. Following the lecture, a quiz competition consisting of 50 questions, drawn from the lectures and additional referenced materials, will be conducted. Cash prizes will be awarded to the top three winners of the quiz competition.
- 1st Prize: 3000 PKR
- 2nd Prize: 2000 PKR
- 3rd Prize: 1000 PKR
