Welcome to the 2026 NorCC Annual Workshop!

The main goal of the workshop is to converge on the best possible proposal for the application of the next NorCC period (2028-2035), based on ideas presented at the town meeting in May and at Steering Committee meetings.

The first day will be devoted to the 2028-2035 application, with discussions about the budget scenarios, the evolution of the NorCC structure (activities and programs), followed by parallel brainstorming sessions within activities using dedicated Zoom breakout rooms. The activities for the next period are:
- A1: High Energy Particle Physics (ATLAS)
- A2: High Energy Nuclear Physics (ALICE)
- A3: Accelerators
- A4: Low Energy Nuclear Physics (ISOLDE)
- A5: Antimatter Physics and Lasers (AEGIS)
- A6: Technology for Research Infrastructures
- A7: Education, Dissemination and Exploitation (EDE)
- A8: Management

The second day will start with a short summary of the parallel discussions from day 1, followed by a review of ongoing research activities and prospects for next year, for each activity. The activities for the current period are:
- A1: High Energy Particle Physics (ATLAS)
- A2: High Energy Nuclear Physics (ALICE)
