Getting to the city center from the airport
- By Navette
The shuttle bus named Navette (L91) connects the international airport to the central railway station St Charles.
The MRS airport has two terminals. In order to find the bus station, turn left if you exit the airport from Terminal 1 or right if you exit from Terminal 2. The shuttle stops at the bus terminal 6.

It departs from the Airport at 4:10 am, 4:50 am, then every 20 minutes until 7:50 am. Every 10 minutes from 7:55 a.m. to 8:15 p.m. Every 20 minutes then until 12:30 a.m. Last departure at 1:30 am.
The tickets for the Navette can be purchased from the kiosk in the station or directly from the driver in case the kiosk is closed. They can also be bought online here
You will have to create an account and you will receive the ticket via email.
The fare for one-way ticket is 10€ and 16€ for a round-trip.
- By Taxi
The trip by taxi from the Marseille-Provence airport to the city is 16 miles long and takes 20-30 minutes depending on traffic. Taxi areas are located at the right of the Halls 1/2 exit (international flight) and at the left of Hall 3 exit (domestic flights). The approximate fare for a one-way trip to the city center (not Luminy) is 65 EUR during day time and 75 EUR during night time (7pm-7am, Sunday, holidays).
Getting to Luminy from the city center
From the main train station (Saint Charles) take metro number 2 in the direction of "Sainte Marguerite Dromel" until the stop "Rond Point du Prado". From there, take bus B1 or bus 21Jet (fast bus) in the direction of "Luminy - Parc national des calanques" and get off at the bus stop "Luminy Faculté". You can find detailed information on public transport on the RTM website.
Accommodation
The workshop will take place on the Luminy campus, in the calanques national parc in the South of Marseille. It is reachable by bus from the city. For accommodation, you can find a list of recommended hotels below:
Two main options:
- Next to Prado/Michelet avenue. Quiet area and easy access to CPPM via bus B1 or bus 21-Jet until "Luminy Faculté"
- Close to old harbour. More lively area, access to CPPM via metro from "Vieux Port" to "Castellane" with Metro 1, change to Metro 2 until "Rond-point du Prado" and finally bus B1 or bus 21-Jet until "Luminy Faculté"
