Future Quantum
For its third edition, Sparks! will collaborate with the CERN Quantum Technology Initiative (QTI) to discuss cutting-edge innovations in the domain. This launch event will be the opportunity for our audience to take a first dive into the status quo in quantum technologies and the future developments and their ramifications in society.
The evening will be moderated by Bruno Giussani, who will be talking to:
- Nicole Yunger Halpern, author of Steampunk Quantum
- Mira L. Wolf-Bauwens, Responsible Quantum Computing Lead at IBM Research
- Rachel Maze, Head of Quantum Technologies Policy, UK Department for Science, Innovation and Technology.
- Sofia Vallecorsa - CERN physicist and coordinator of the Quantum Computing area within the CERN Quantum Technology Initiative.
The evening will also feature the work of Su Wenchi dancer, choreographer, new media artist and recipient of the Arts at CERN Accelerate Taiwan Award, and I-Fang Lin

Future Quantum
Pour sa troisième édition, Sparks ! collaborera avec le Quantum Technilogy Initiative (QTI) du CERN afin d'offrir à son public des discussions de pointe dans ce domaine. Cet événement de lancement sera l'occasion de faire un premier plongeon dans le statu quo des technologies quantiques ainsi que dans les développements futurs et leurs ramifications dans la société avant l'événement Sparks ! en mars 2024.
L'événement sera animée par Bruno Giussani, qui s'entretiendra avec :
- Nicole Yunger Halpern, auteur de Steampunk Quantum
