CMS Guides:
Cedric Gerlach
I am a mechanical engineer currently writing my master's thesis at the CMS Safety Office. The master's project is to develop an extinguishing system for the electronic racks in the USC55 and UXC55 caverns. In addition to this task, I supervise the work of technicians, prepare risk assessments and provide assistance in the qualification of equipment. I enjoy giving tours at CERN and helping visitors understand the science of CERN.
Cedric Verstege
I'm a PhD student in experimental particle physics at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology. The main focus of my work is the analysis of the data collected with the CMS Experiment. When I'm at CERN, I'm working as a technical shifter and visits guide at CMS.
