This is an invited talk given by Scott Chapman, to discuss about the idea of explaining the exotic-hadron spectrum by introducing a new quark flavor.
The talk would cover:
1. Mapping exotic hadrons to mesons and baryons
2. W interactions of the additional quark
3. Z interactions of the additional quark
4. Cancelling gauge anomalies
5. Reproducing observed production and decay of exotic hadrons
6. Addressing experiments that rule out an additional quark
7. Alternative non-SM explanations for a few experiments
8. Predictions testable by LHCb (and other experiments)
The paper is: [arXiv: 2203.03007] Fitting the exotic hadron spectrum with an additional quark
