Entry Guide for Participants of Baryons 2025
We welcome all international participants to this conference held in Jeju Island. To ensure a smooth entry process, please refer to the entry requirements based on your nationality.
1. Visa-Free Entry to Jeju Island
Most nationalities are eligible for visa-free entry to Jeju Island for up to 30 days,
only if arriving directly via an international flight or designated ferry.

Chinese participants may enter visa-free on direct flights from cities like Beijing or Shanghai.

Indian participants may enter via connecting flights through Asian hubs such as Hong Kong, Singapore, Taipei, or Shanghai.
❗ Nationals from the following 23 countries are not eligible for visa-free entry and must obtain a visa:
Iran, Sudan, Syria, Cuba, Kosovo, Palestine, Afghanistan, Iraq, Ghana, Nigeria, Yemen, Egypt, Gambia, Senegal, Bangladesh, Kyrgyzstan, Pakistan, Somalia, Uzbekistan, Nepal, Cameroon, Sri Lanka, Myanmar

2. K-ETA (Korea Electronic Travel Authorization)
Many travelers must apply for K-ETA prior to boarding.

It is recommended to apply at least 72 hours before departure.

Once approved, the K-ETA is valid for 3 years and allows multiple entries.

Travelers with an existing K-ETA can check their validity status online.
3. Traveling Beyond Jeju
Some nationalities may require prior authorization to travel beyond Jeju Island to other parts of Korea.
