Wine Tasting in Breisach with hike:
13:25h Wine tour participants meet outside Main Lecture Hall
13:30h Start the walk to Freiburg Main Station
14:02h Take local train S1 (to Breisach) from platform 6
14:26h Arrival in Breisach, hike to wine cellar via old town and cathedral
16:00h Wine tasting (very roughly 1,5 - 2 hours) with option to buy local wines and spirits
around 18:00h walk back to Breisach train station
around 19:00h return to Freiburg main station
Hike from Freiburg to Schönberg mountain
(Hike at Lake Titisee cancelled due to rockfall, the route is closed)

On Wednesday afternoon you have the opportunity to discover some of this wonderful region situated between mystical Black Forest and the Kaiserstuhl, a famous wine region. We offer different tours and hope that everyone can find something to their taste:
- Guided tour of Freiburg, visiting the famous 'Münster' (cathedral) and the old town, along the 'Bächle', enjoying the well-know 'Münsterwurst' (red sausage) at the market or alternatively a tour through the 'Münster'
- Hiking tour in the Black Forest around lake 'Titisee' and visiting St. Peter
- Hiking tour in the wine region of the Kaiserstuhl, followed by an entertaining, yet informative visit of the well-known Breisach wine cellars, including the tasting of a selection of local wines.
- Free time for yourself to explore Freiburg and the surroundings and enjoy a tour on your own. Information material available at the registration desk.
