      Targets, Schedule and Physics 10m

Schedule (technical): Mentions power supply exchange to increase number of spares. 1h to be scheduled once EPC confirms readiness (before holidays season). Possibly on the 1st of July ?
      From Julien:
YHRS.QP550-NEG and YHRS.QP550-POS model from 1250V NEG /POS to 2000V NEG / POS, because I have a lot of 2000V module in spare.
To be able to swap 1250V model with 2000V model a PLC update must be done. If you are agree with this modification. I will make a request to my colleagues from EPC control. They will prepare a new version of PLC software and we will wait for your green light, once the intervention will by scheduled. I would recommend to not wait to many weeks due to summer holidays.
To be clear, this modification will just change the maximum voltage rating of YHRS.QP550-NEG and YHRS.QP550-POS, and I not expecting to generate any other control issue as it is from my point of view, a minor change.
The complete intervention should take one hour and during that time the power converters listed in the attached file will be OFF.

Speakers: Hanne Heylen (CERN), Mia Au, Sebastian Rothe (CERN)

      Physics

      • On HRS, CRIS finished their laser spectroscopy run on neutron-deficient Au isotopes to study shape coexistence/regions of deformation. They didn't manage to go to the most exotic cased due to the low yields and limited available time, but they were happy with the other isotopes measured. Afterwards ISOLTRAP took over for a few shifts to assess the yields and purity of the neutron-rich Au for precise mass measurements. After initial problems at the experiment side due to a hard-to-find broken cable, they managed to finish their programme. Additionally, IDS took the beam for 1 shift to investigate 198mAu as a potential new probe for PAC. Now MIRACLS is using the same target for commissioning of their setup in preparation of a run later this year.
      • On GPS, the users were very happy but tired after more than a week of measurements. Several PAC experiments with 111mCd took place to study relevant solid state materials with applications in batteries, solar cells etc.
      • Stable beam for ISS over the weekend

      Targets

      • proton scan on #820 done on RP monitor signal. (https://logbook.cern.ch/elogbook-server/GET/showEventInLogbook/4094117
      • We will try to make something operational towards yets (Emiliano, Line).
