In the server world container solutions are well established and one reason for using this technology is the ease of deployment. The host OS dependencies can be significantly reduced using containers. Adding complex software in a Yocto/Petalinux environment can be painful (library versions, missing recipes, other dependencies). With little tweaks on the kernel and Yocto config the docker framework can be enabled on MPSoC or Versal devices. In this presentation I will describe these tweaks and do a live demo on a ZynqUS+ platform.
