- MAPS interview
- fixed bug reported by J. Flammer (gLite) and related to browsing
  tracker items with 'advanced' criteria. I am now testing the fix.
- worked on a SPI PPT presentation template (not finalized yet)
- on request of CMS, deleted several projects now merged into the
  CMSSW project.
- in preparation for the planned HyperNews training:
     . went through a couple of documents recommended by Traudl
     . requested an HN account (not created & no reply yet)
- send a mail and iterated with a few project admins concerning
  savannah privacy issues and 'harvesting' by search engines
  (point raised by Tim Smith at C5)
- reassigned a few items posted to savcern by mistake
- deleted a wrong project registration
- investigating why a user who changed his AFS password and who
  can log to lxplus does not succeed to log into savannah anymore
- send email to a couple of project admins who should fix wrong
  email addresses / allow savannah to post to their project mailing
  lists

- Nightly builds
  - windows port
    - setup new machine pcphsft37 for the windows nightly builds
      Currently it is possible to produce CMT based projects. Execept 
      for the interaction with sh/cygwin. There we will need a more complete
      cygwin installation. Currently this is the ROOT/linux environment.
   - Windows on demand service is currently retired. We can resurrect it if needed.
   - Problem with lxbuild056, it was swapping too much, after reboot fine again
   - Better usage of CPU time on linux build nodes. The slots are now executed in
     parallel.
   - IT patches for compilers and libstdc++ deployed to lxbuild nodes, no problems found
   - New slot "gaudi-pre" introduced for Gaudi pre-release testing.
   - Memory upgrade and new lxbuild node requested to IT
- LCG 50b released.
- Presentation in AA about ideas for external s/w re-organisation. Followups planned.
- Meeting with Blackforest Grid representatives and Apple concerning ports of LCG s/w to mac osx.
- AFS
  - Increase of afs space by 50 GB requested for backed up space.
