Accommodation

A list of convenient places to stay can be found on CERN's list of Hotels and apartments hotels in the local area.

The workshop agenda integrates with other open-science events ongoing in Geneva during the same week.  Some of our events will be at CERN, and some at venues in Geneva.  So we're suggesting everyone stay in the area of the Cornavin train station. This is 30mins by tram to CERN, 15 mins to our expected locations in Geneva. (Map)

Getting around Geneva

The public transport is operatied by TPG. They provide an app for helping you to plan your journey. The best way to get to CERN from Cornavin is by the number 18 tram.
