Transport
Getting around Amsterdam is best done on (rental) bicycle or by public transport. Using a car is discouraged, but Science Park Amsterdam has parking space available. The closest railway station is Amsterdam Science Park, but Amsterdam Muiderpoort and Amsterdam Amstel are within walking cq. bike riding distance. Amsterdam Amstel also has OV-fiets bike rentals for €4.55 per day.
The GVB provides metro, tram, and bus services in Amsterdam; bus 40 has a stop closest to the venue.
Planning your trip is easiest with https://9292.nl/en which combines all options.
All public transport requires the use of the the OV-chipkaart, for which there are several options. If you buy a reusable card (€7.50) you can load it with credit or maybe get a multi-day pass (bus, tram or metro only).
Accomodation
There are many hotels in Amsterdam in a wide range of prices. We cannot endorse any particular hotel, but there are several in the Amsterdam Amstel station area or Watergraafsmeer conveniently close such as Meininger, Hotel V, Casa and the Manor.
