Visa

This page aims to help collaborators apply for VISAs in their own countries.

Many nationalities, mainly from Latin America and Europe, don't require a VISA for a short stay. Here's a comprehensive list of which ones do or do not require a VISA before coming to Brazil.

Tip: If you hold multiple citizenships, you may enter Brazil with a passport different from the one you used to leave your country of origin. That helps if you have a citizenship that is VISA exempt.

You can read about it more on Brazil's Ministry of Foreign Affairs page (English and Portuguese are on the same page).

If you need to apply for a VISA, you will need an invitation letter from us. Access this form and fill in the required information if this is your case. We will mail your letter to you.

When in doubt, either about the instructions or the process itself, don't hesitate to contact Gustavo Valdiviesso directly at gustavo.valdiviesso@unifal-mg.edu.br.
