Anton Dimitrov

Anton is a researcher in the Experimental Particle Physics field. He graduated in "Theoretical and Mathematical Physcis" and "Particle and Nuclear Physcis" in the University of Sofia, Bulgaria and did a post-doctoral fellowship in the INFN section of Bari, Italy.
 
Anton is a member of the CMS experiment collaboration since 2003 and is actively working for the CMS Muon group as a detector & hardware expert on the Resistive Plate Chamber (RPC) detector technology. He is also the Technical Coordinator of the CMS RPC Project.
 
Anton has been a CMS & CERN guide for more than 15 years with a vivid interest to explain visitors the history of the Early Universe and present the beauty of CERN experiments and advanced state-of-the-art technologies.

 

Borislav Pavlov

Borislav Pavlov is an Associate Professor at the University of Sofia “St. Kliment Ohridski” (Bulgaria). He started to work on CMS experiments in 2000 as a CERN Summer Student. As a PhD student, he took part in Resistive Plate Chambers R&D, quality tests, installation, and commissioning. Since then he has continued to work on CMS, developing software for detector simulation and data analysis. Borislav participates in the data taking as a CMS Shift Leader. He is working also on various data analyses.

Zoltan Szillasi 

Zoltan and Noemi, physicists, PhD in particle physics. During the last 20 years they have been working for Hardware Muon Barrel Alignment System and Fiber Optical Sensing System at CMS.

Their big hobby has been the CMS Virtual visits since the beginning.
