Description
The FCC feasibility study includes the creation of an inventory of environmental aspects of the project as a preparation for the environmental authorisation process. This systematic work includes the compilation of characteristics of all project elements that may have environmental effects, e.g. energy and water consumption, wastes,
wastewater, noise, visibility in the landscape, ionizing and non-ionizing radiations, resources needs and others. This effort permits creating a hierarchisation of the noteworthy environmental effects.
This presentation will provide an overview of the approach taken to create this inventory, report on challenges encountered and information about the current status of the work.
