CERN Day GESDA 2024
The CERN Day of the Geneva Science Diplomacy Week is dedicated to exploring the practical experience of a large research infrastructure at the intersection between science and diplomacy. The engagement with scientists and administrators at CERN, and with the broader diplomatic community and international organizations in International Geneva, will provide a first-hand view of the contemporary opportunities and challenges in science diplomacy and the evolution of the field in the current geopolitical climate. In addition, participants will learn about the Open Quantum Institute, a new groundbreaking initiative by GESDA and CERN to ensure future applications of quantum technologies benefit all humanity in pursuit of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
