The Communication History Section is one of the section of the European Communication Research and Education Association (ECREA). ECREA is a learned society of communication scholars, devoted to development of communication research and higher education in Europe.
The Communication History Section brings together a community of European scholars who approach communication from a historical perspective. Valorizing diversity and plurality, this event offers an opportunity to showcase the most advanced research in various areas, including but not limited to:
- History of communication in general,
- History of socially relevant and mass communication,
- Memory studies,
- History of ideas related to the field of communication,
- Methodology and theory of communication history.
