The closest international airport is Hangzhou Xiaoshan airport (杭州蕭山). It takes about one hour from the airport to the campus by taxi, which costs about 200 RMB.

From the airport to the campus
If you would like to avoid traffic across the city or long taxi, you can take subway Line 19 from the airport to 西溪湿地北 station and then take taxi for the last few kilometers.

From Shanghai
You could come to Hangzhou by high-speed trains from Shanghai, though not recommended if you are not familiar enough. Please contact us if you have any questions about this option.
Shanghai Hongqiao airport (上海虹橋国際) is very close to the railway station but Shanghai Pudong airport (上海浦東国際) is far from the railway station. It takes about one hour or less from Shanghai to Hangzhou East station and then another one hour to the campus.

Brief tips about Hangzhou city
- Downtown and Nan-song (南宋) historical district
Downtown area is located on the east side of Xihu. You can also find Nan-song historical district.
- Scenic places near Xihu
You can find various scenic places whole around Xihu. You can find green areas on the west side.
- Xixi Wetland National Park (西溪国家湿地公园)
A big national park close to Zijingang campus. There are green areas with several lakes. You can also find cafe and restraurants in the park.
- Longjing (龍井)
Small village in the mountain area near Xihu, famous for production of tea leaves.
