Amsterdam has thousands of hotels, but as Amsterdam is a very popular destination - especially during the high season - we advise the participants to book at their earliest convenience. You can find a wide range of hotels and hostels on common sites such as www.hotel.com, www.booking.com, or www.expedia.com, including short-term bargains. Due to a good public transport system in the Netherlands, a hotel outside Amsterdam City Center can also be an option.
The first five hotels below are located along tram line 14, which you can take from Central Station. The tramline closest to Nikhef is tram 19, which you can take at the Alexanderplein stop (5-10 minute walk from most of the hotels).
Eden Manor Hotel is closest to Nikhef, along tram 19. Hotel Casa is near Amstel Station. Motel One near Waterlooplein.
Prices vary between 100-250 euro (depending on season and availability).
There is also a good train connection between Amsterdam Central Station and Amsterdam Science Park.
