Eduroam
The Eduroam service is supported wherever Wi-Fi is available at CERN. If you are a registered user of Eduroam at your home institution, you should be able to connect without further ado. See CERN's "Eduroam for visitors" page for more information.
CERN network
In order to have internet access via the CERN network, you need to register your device via the network connection request form. This is only possible when in the CERN network. You might also directly be forwarded to this page upon connecting to the Visitor WiFi network.
To do so:
- Follow the link to the network connection request form
- Enter your data and the hardware address and card type of your device (you can register at the same time both wireless and ethernet hardware addresses of the same machine can be registered at the same time )
- Enter your arrival and departure dates and the reason of your visit
- As contact person select Feickert Matthew
You can register as many devices as you need in this way (one registration per device!). Please make sure to set a fixed MAC address for your device(s)!
