VBF Workshop: Collaborative Advances in Theory and Experiment

This event aims at boosting activities within the VBF subgroup of the Higgs cross section working group. In particular, it should initiate new projects within the working group.

The program is made of both invited presentations and voluntary contributions. During the workshop, ample time for discussion is planned in order to boost theory/experiment cross talk.

If you wish to give a presentation, please submit an abstract.

Note that we expect in-person speakers and strongly encourage the in-person participation.

[Accommodation] Participants have to make their own arrangements for their accommodation. A number of Hostel rooms have been blocked for this workshop. They will be kept available until 31days before the event, after that the prebooking will be lost. We kindly ask you to fill in the form attached here and send it back to housing.service@cern.ch directly. 

More information:

  • Cancellation and modification is accepted free of charge until 14:00 (CET) 2 days before the foreseen day of arrival.
  • Reduction of length of stay is accepted free of charge until 12:00 (CET) on the day of departure.
  • In case of no-show the first night of the reservation is charged at 100% to the supplied means of financial guaranty. The rest of the stay is automatically cancelled by 12:00.
  • Check-in time is from 2.00 pm and check-out time is at 12.00 am.
