Venue & local transports

The workshop rooms are located in building 200, about 5 minutes from REB B station Orsay Ville. Once in the building, ask at the welcome desk to reach the workshop rooms (see agenda for details). A map of the campus with IJCLab buildings is available here.

IJCLAB is conveniently accessible via the local train called RER B that runs from Charles de Gaulles Airport to St Remy-lès-Chevreuse: for IJCLab, get off at the Orsay-Ville station. (it is closer to the lab if you exit at the head of the train). Take care that the RER B has several brnaches and terminal stops: take one heading to Orsay-Ville or to Saint Rémy-lès-Chevreuse.

Here is a map of RER Line B for your reference: https://www.ratp.fr/sites/default/files/lines-assets/plan-de-ligne/rer/plan-de-ligne_rer_ligne-b.1687561206.pdf

For an overview of the entire transport network in Greater Paris, please refer to this map: https://www.ratp.fr/sites/default/files/plans-lignes/Plans-essentiels/Plan-RER-et-transiliens.1673014648.pdf

In Paris, public transport is highly efficient, and various ticketing options are available. More information on the variious ticketing options can be found at https://www.ratp.fr/en/titres-et-tarifs/paris-visite-travel-pass

Additionally, there is a convenient app called "Bonjour RATP," available in English, which helps with navigation within the Paris transport network. It also allows for online ticket purchases through a second app called "Ticket sans contact." that unfortunately doesn't work for tickets to Orsay-Ville... Please find the app links below:
