      Discussion:

      • This week wednesday - cooldown starts
      • It is already purged with dry N2, several times, and the vacuum is now E-5 mbar
      • The pumping will stop and we will keep under static vacuum when cooldown
      • The pump replacement will only be possible during November as we are not sure if the angle valve (before turbo) is leak tight
      • Suggestion of Alex is to use Penning+Pirani gauge on CF flange in a CF40 TEE, long control cables for both the turbo pump and the gauge controller.
      • Install the gauge+turbo controllers in the rack in AD hall where the rest of the BCCCA electronics are located.
      • Interlock logic suggestion is to use the pump speed signal (>80%) coming out from the turbo controller back, going into PLC to control a relay which then controls the angle valve before the turbo
      • So we need to request EN-EL (1) Turbo cable, (2) Penning cable (3) Pirani cable and (4) valve relay cable. PS: there might be some cable already existing
      • Implement these into the control GUI, with option to by pass the pump-speed based interlock for the first pumpdown.
