The European Organization for Nuclear Research, more common known as CERN, was established in 1954 at Geneva, Switzerland. What started as a nuclear physics facility is now the largest particle physics laboratory in the world. This year celebrates CERN’s 70th Anniversary. The Philippines is proud to be an associate member of the CERN-ATLAS Collaboration and host a conference that joins other countries worldwide in commemorating this historic event. Join us as particle physicists from the Philippines and around the world share their exciting research being done at CERN and beyond.
