Description

Local UW NSF HDR ML Challenge on November 26th at ECE 403 UW campus.

Winners will have opportunity to receive abundant award:

  • The top three contestants in the final phase of the competition will share a total prize pool of $2500.

  • Plus, 3 GPUs and additional cash awards generously sponsored by AMD!  

  • And the winner will be flown to attend the AAAI Workshop in Philadelphia.

This event promises to be an exciting day of discovery and innovation, with pizza and snacks provided to fuel your creativity.

The hackathon will focus on ML enhanced scientific anomaly detection including:

  • Detecting new materials or species 

  • Observing unusual astrophysical objects 

  • Noticing changes in climate behavior
