Salient Points:

The Poster:

1. It is urgent to finalize the poster soon; it is needed to advertise the event more widely.

2. The text in the middle of the top section with the white background should be well-centered. To achieve this, consider adjusting the size of the Université de Lomé logo or using an alternative UL logo, if available. The sizes of the ASP and UL logos should be similar.

3. The date of the event should be moved to the top center text, next the place of the event.

THE FOURTH AFRICAN CONFERENCE OF FUNDAMENTAL AND APPLIED PHYSICS

( ACP2025)

Organized jointly by University of Lome, Togo

September 14-20, 2025

1. Some logos are too small. Please increase their sizes for better visibility.

2. Remove the horizontal line in the logos section.

3. There appears to be a line between the pictures of Togo and the top backgrounds. Please remove this dividing line, for example, by creating a uniform background across the poster.

4. The images in the map of Africa are low resolution. Please replace them with high-quality images, and ensure the QR code is also of high resolution.

5. Please add the map of Madagascar beside the map of Africa, at the bottom right.

6. Please add a picture of another experiment within the map of Madagascar, for example the map of the DUNE Experiment (high resolution map).

7. Regarding the blue oval image on the left and the blue-green image on the right:

1. Remove them to see how the poster looks without them.

2. Compare the two versions to decide whether they should be included.

8. Use the latest version of the poster with a few improvements

1. Remove the yellow and white backgrounds of the texts beside the map of Africa and the website link text.

2. Keep the texts in white for contrast and visibility.

3. Increase the font of “Particle and Applications”, etc. to be larger than the texts below them but smaller than the text of “Scientific Program”.

4. Play with the contrast of the background and the texts, for better visibility of the texts.

Site Visit:

Prof Amou said that the LOC proposes the period of February 17-28. There are 3 possibilities within that period:

• February 17-21

• February 20-25

• February 24-26 

We suggested that Prof. Amou and the LOC consider one of these options as suitable for the LOC. When the date is decided, the LOC should finalize the invitation letters.

ASFAP Symposium:

The ASFAP symposium, September 22-25, 2025. Not much to be reported at this time. We will be back to it when we have more information from the ASFAP committees. But the ASFAP symposium will need similar or the same logistics as ACP2025, so the LOC should foresee / prepare accordingly.

AOB:

The possibility of having conference proceedings. We suggest discussing this when we start discussing the scientific program. Maybe we can appoint a subcommittee to work on this topic and report back.
