The venue: The workshop will be held in the Physics Executive Conference Room in room #303 of the Chemistry and Physics Building near the middle of the sections F3 and G3 in the campus map. This building houses the UTA Planetarium located at 700 Planetarium Pl, Arlington, TX 76019, which is quite well known in the DFW Metroplex Area. If you were to use the hotel shuttle service or a taxi service, you can ask the driver to drop you off at UTA Planetarium.
Parking: A special free event parking arrangement is made for your cars in the Maverick Parking Garage which is closest parking to the Chemistry and Physics Building in the center of the campus and is in the bottom of the sections F3 and G3 of the campus map. Since the new semester begins on Monday, Jan. 13, the garage may be full. In this case, you can also use the parking lot F10, not too far from the Maverick Parking Garage
It will have a sign that reads "DAMSA Collaboration Meeting Parking" Wed. and Thu. and will have "Event Parking" the remaining two days.
Once parked, go to the link https://utarlington.aimsparking.com/permits/?cmd=new_event. Here is the procedure for registering your vehicle on the site:
1. Select "Department-Hosted Event”
2. Select "DAMSA Collaboration Meeting”
3. Enter voucher code: DAMSA
4. Select permit type "(EVT-COMP) Maverick Garage (Daily)”
5. Select the active date
6. Add vehicle info and confirm
