Dear All,

It is with great pleasure that we announce the Second Advanced School on Operation of Accelerators (ATSOA2025), organized within the framework of the EURO-LABS EU Project (Grant Agreement No: 101057511)

EURO-LABS is committed to improve the efficiency of use of Research Infrastructures (RIs) and expanding their human and institutional capacities. As part of this commitment, EURO-LABS organizes a series of training activities at various levels, including annual Basic Training Schools and Advanced Training Schools.

The Advanced Training School on Operation of Accelerators (ATSOA2025) will take place from May 12th to May 16th, 2025, at CERN, Geneva, Switzerland. The program will feature hands-on activities at three advanced accelerator facilities of the lab: CLEAR, ISOLDE, PS Booster  and AD/ELENA. The training will cover a range of topics including bam dynamics, characterization and control systems, steering algorithms, phasing superconducting cavities and other advanced topics.

We are pleased to offer this unique opportunity to 15-18 selected trainees, who will participate in this intensive five-day hands-on course. Applicants are required to provide a motivation letter and register through the even web page:

 The participation of selected trainees will be fully funded by EURO-LABS, covering:

  • Economy-class travel within Europe,
  •  Accommodation, and,
  • Daily subsistence support.

Further details on the application process will be shared shortly in the event’s web page mentioned above. Please note that the application deadline is January 31st, 2025.
