Description

The organizers of Beamline for Schools (BL4S; https://cern.ch/bl4s) are glad to meet the teams interested in participating in the competition. In this online event you will virtually visit ATLAS, one of the four particle detectors at the Large Hadron Collider. We will give you an introduction to the ATLAS detector, its purpose and functional principle, and you will have the opportunity to ask question. To facilitate the participation of people coming from different time zones, we will hold the same session two times, at 9am and at 5pm, CET (Central European Time). We will soon add a ZOOM link below for you to join the event.
