Description

We are delighted to organise a meeting of the Danish, Norwegian, Swedish and Finnish communities to discuss the update of the European Strategy for Particle Physics. We want to take advantage of the Nordic dimension to share our thoughts, plans and possibly spell out common interests and plans for the future.

Travel information

Uppsala is situated about 35 km north of the Stockholm Arlanda (ARN) airport. Buses and trains run frequently (every 15-30 minutes) directly from the airport to Uppsala, and the trip takes only 18 minutes by train and about 40 minutes by bus. The cost for a transfer is about 20 EUR per person by train (10 EUR by bus). Uppsala has a small city center and most hotels are within walking distance from the train and bus station.

Venue

The Nordic ESPP meeting will take place at the Ångström laboratory. It can easily be reached by public transportation from the city center (take bus 4 from the station, stop at Polacksbacken).

Accommodation

Most hotels are situated in the center of the city, we recommend to make your reservation as soon as possible:
