To get to the city centre from the airport:
Public transport
- You arrive at Terminal 2 (most likely):
- Take the metro line and get off at "Sofia University St. Kliment Ohridski" station, which takes approximately 25 minutes.
- The ticket costs around €0.82 (1.6 BGN) and can be purchased at cashiers or vending machines. Before boarding, validate your ticket at the designated validator near the entrance.
- Alternatively, you can buy an electronic ticket directly at the barriers using your debit/credit card for a fee of 1.6 BGN.
- Take the metro line and get off at "Sofia University St. Kliment Ohridski" station, which takes approximately 25 minutes.
If you're checked by metro staff, please have your card ready to present. Note that if you use this same card three times in one day, it will be converted into a daily pass costing ~€2.00 (4 BGN). After that, all travels on the same day are free.

- or take bus 184 (the bus stop is located to the right of Arrivals hall) and get off at "Orlov most" stop. Buy your electronic ticket inside the bus from the electronic devices using your debit/credit card. The cost is the same - €0.82.
- You arrive at Terminal 1 (less likely, only WizzAir and EasyJet operate):
- take bus 84 and get off at "Orlov most" stop. Buy your electronic ticket inside the bus from the electronic devices using your debit/credit card. The cost is €0.82.
Taxi Option
From either terminal:
Take an official "Yellow taxi", located near the bus stop.
