Monthly meeting on the advancement of the BI-EP collaboration for the development of the BI rad-tol optical links

• TOSA production have been further tested and positive results confirmed; the production is in time
• • annealing seems very effective
• The process to select the assembly company almost at an end
• SFP+ and QSFP with high sensitivity identified: QSFP showing better performance now and lower price
  • Several components of each type to be procured and tested <= Action on Antonio
  • Procurement decision to be taken in June
  • BPM confirms that QSFP is the preferred option
• ROSA getting on a potentially critical path
  • preferred/default company still not coming back with answers
  • second option 3 times moire expensive and askig 70k for R&D
  • Jan to get contact with Taiwan: some already in place expert license could be used for this
