Instructions for Speakers at the 57th SSRPM conference

If you are invited to give a talk during the conference, please take note of the following points: 

The talk slot will be 15 min: 10 min presentation + 5 min questions and logistics ( slide management, mic adjustment, presenter changes).

Make sure that you have uploaded your slides, or presentation under your name and contribution on the site well before the start of your session.          

Make sur you are logged in Indico         

      Please go to : https://indico.cern.ch/event/1513894/abstracts     (scroll down)

  •       Click on your abstract 
  •       In  the new page, click on "go to contribution" to reach the contribution page
  •       At the bottom of the new page, click on the little pencil (edit) to add your presentation ( please use .ppt or .pdf formats)
  • Please check the time of your talk, and make sure that you are present in the room at the start of the session. There will be reserved seats in the front of the room for speakers.
  • Respect the allocated time of your talk! Please include some time in the end for a question or two.
  • The room is equipped with a video projector and the recommended format for your slides is 16:9 in power point format. We recommend that you use the computer that is in the room, someone will help you to make sure your talk is displayed.
  • You will be equipped with a clip-on microphone in the CERN Main Auditorium.

 

In case of problem for uploading your presentation please bring it to your session chair on a USB memory, we will upload it for you on the conference room computer.
