IOC+ACP2025 LOC Meeting
Summary of Meeting
Present: Amou, Komlan, Christine, Horst, Ulrich, Kelly, Peyton, Kpelon, Lawrence, Sanae, Kétévi, and Mounia.
We reported on the site visit:
- ACP2025 Poster Suggestions:
- The Université de Lomé logo on the top right will be replaced with the logo of the Ministère de l’Enseignement Supérieur et de la Recherche
- The Université de Lomé logo will be moved to the bottom
- The University of Kara logo will be added
- The ANSALT logo will be added
- All LOC logos will be moved to the right side.
- Conference Dinner:
- Should we have a joint conference dinner in conjunction with Université de Lomé's 55th anniversary?
- Sponsorship Update
- Prof. Amou mentioned that two companies are willing to sponsor ACP2025.
- He has a meeting with them tomorrow and will report on that discussion.
Inputs from the LOC

Prof. Amou will send us useful information to be added to the ASP website (housing options, visa requirements for Togo, airport transfers, etc.).

Prof. Komlan presented a few slides on the entrance visa requirements for Togo. He will send his slides to be uploaded to Indico.
ACP2025 Scientific Program & Proposed Session Leaders

We emphasized the need to prioritize invited speakers who can—or are willing to—attend in person.

People with contributed talks (selected abstracts) but no funding may present online.

Lawrence suggested two speakers for light sources.

Peyton provided a brief update on how they plan to organize their session.

Funmi presented a proposal for the 3-minute Poster Presentation Video.
Next Steps

Session leaders should begin developing their detailed agendas, including identifying invited speakers, structuring contributed talks, and defining discussion topics.

We encourage session chairs to collaborate closely with the LOC and IOC to ensure smooth execution.

If anyone has feedback on the session structure or would like to propose additional invited talks, please share your input.

Starting from the next meeting, we would like to hear updates from the session leaders.
