- The tourist office is conveniently located at Ernst-August-Platz 8, right next to the main station "Hannover Hbf."
- The Herrenhausen Gardens are among the most impressive in Europe. To visit, you can start at the university and take trams 4 or 5 towards "Garbsen" or "Stöcken" until you reach the "Herrenhäuser Gärten" stop. Alternatively, you can enjoy a leisurely walk, as it's just 2 km away from the university. While there, you can also explore the Botanical Garden and Sea Life.
- The New Town Hall, located at Platz der Menschenrechte 2, offers a stunning view of the city, accessible via a unique curved elevator. Additionally, in the basement, you can explore four detailed models showcasing the city at various points in its history.
- The "Eilenriede," covering nearly 6.4 km², is one of the largest urban forests in Europe. Take a walk there, northeast of the main station, and enjoy the beauty of nature!
