Particle Therapy MasterClass 5 Years Anniversary

After the first pilots in 2019 (February “local” at GSI and April “international”, at CERN, DKFZ and GSI) the PTMC was approved and integrated in the International MasterClasses IMC programme with its first session on 2nd March 2020, in Mexico (Mexico City and Puebla), exactly when covid started spreading. As a consequence, all the rest of the 2020 PTMC sessions were cancelled and the 2021 sessions were performed fully online, reaching immediately 1500 students invited by 37 institutes in 20 countries. Since then, a set of world-maps has been showing the increasing number of participating institutes and countries, with a 5th one to be added this year  https://cernbox.cern.ch/index.php/s/LGGUtVcLlHR8qW3

Hence, the PTMC2025 celebrates the 5th PTMC Anniversary on the 31 March,  in a symbolic way, by reuniting online all institute organisers and tutors/assistants who can join to celebrate together, even if virtually.
