Data Analysis for Antihydrogen Experiments at CERN 10m

This presentation briefly outlines the results of the data analysis from CERN’s antihydrogen experiments (ALPHA2 and ALPHAg). It focuses on constructing a model for the annihilation vertex distribution using two Gaussian functions plus a background, optimizing by minimizing the negative log-likelihood (NLL) to accurately determine the Z position, and employing regression analysis to evaluate systematic errors in trap positioning.

Speaker: Dmytro Skorubskyi (University of Michigan (US))
