Description
COMPASS experiment has collected a large data set on hadron production in deep inelastic scattering (DIS). In particular, in 2022 it collected world-unique data with 6LiD target containing transversely polarised deuterons. DIS is a powerful tool to access parton distribution functions (PDFs) that describe the nucleon structure in the context of inelastic high-energy collisions, including correlations between the parton and nucleon spins and parton transverse momenta. The polarised deuterons are instrumental to access d-quark PDFs. Recent results and the outlook will be presented.
