Travel to the conference venue

The OSCARS AAI & Composability worshop will take place at CERN. CERN is located at the border between Switzerland and France and can be easily reached via Geneva.

Train

Geneva is conveniently located in the center of europe and has direct train connections to Milano, Paris, Lyon, or Zurich. From the train station, you can take the tram Number 18 in the direction of CERN and go to the last stop. You can plan your train journey for example via the SBB website.

The train journey from the Swiss side alongside the northern shore of Lake Geneva is arguably one of the most scenic train journeys in Europe. Make sure to sit on the left side in direction of travel to benefit from a stunning alpine panorama.

Plane

If you come from further away and want to arrive via plane, from Geneva airport there are direct flights to many airports in Europe. From the airport, it's best to take a bus to Blandonnet, where you need to change to tram Number 18 towards CERN.

The approach to Geneva airport, usually from the north-east over Lake Geneva, also offers a stunning panorama of the Swiss and French Alps.

If you don't find flights to Geneva, you can go to Zurich airport and then take a direct train to Geneva.
