Burdwan Town School is a century-old higher secondary school situated in the heart of Burdwan Town in West Bengal, India. It has 2100 registered students and 38 permanent teachers in the current academic year. The school is glad to organise a virtual visit to the CMS experiment situated in CERN, Geneva, Switzerland for its students. The students are from 13 to 18 years of age with a basic knowledge in Physical Science. Approximately 100 students are intended to participate in this tour. Some other schools in the surrounding area are also expected to come to our school and have expressed their willingness to join the virtual tour.
