Description

This international conference marks 100 years since the birth of quantum mechanics; it brings together leading scientists and emerging researchers to reflect on the evolution of quantum physics—from the early breakthroughs of Planck, Einstein and Schodringer to the mordern frontier of quantum technologies, accelerators and quantum information science. The conference will cover 4 major themes:

                    • Compact particle accelerators and light sources
                    • African physics on the global stage
                    • Quantum physics in modern technology
                    • Frontiers in quantum information

The gathering will also highlights Africa's growing role in global scienctific development and its strategic position in shaping the next century of quantum innovation.
