CERN Musical bands
As part of CERN’s STELLAR event, the Piazza will be transformed into an open-air stage for “Music under the Stars”. Alongside the live broadcast of the auditorium conferences, several CERN music groups will take to the stage throughout the evening. With an eclectic lineup spanning jazz, blues, funk, and pop, this musical journey promises something for everyone.
- 16:30 - 18:00: The afternoon kicks off with Oliver Street Band, a traditional jazz group with a refreshingly unique twist. Blending the talents of a classically trained pianist, a rock drummer, and a street-style clarinetist, the band takes you on a musical journey from the 1920s to the 1970s.
- 18:00 - 19:00: Get ready for blues in its most authentic form with The Canettes Blues Band, who will immerse you in a world where groove and good vibes rule.
- 19:50 - 20:30: Taking the stage next is Geneva-based Jo and the Fuzzy Blue, whose soulful blend of blues, funk, and soul is led by Jo’s captivating voice.
- 22:20 - 00:00: To wrap up the evening on a high note, don’t miss Miss Proper and the moving targets. This energetic, humorous band will have you dancing to their wildly fun covers of rock and pop classics.

Groupes musicaux du CERN
À l’occasion de l’événement STELLAR du CERN, la Piazza se transforme en scène à ciel ouvert pour accueillir l’activité « Music under the stars ». Retrouvez-y, en parallèle de la retransmission en direct des conférences de l’auditorium, plusieurs groupes de musique du CERN. La programmation éclectique, entre jazz, blues, funk et pop, vous accompagnera tout au long de la soirée.
- 16:30 - 18:00 : L’après-midi débute avec le Oliver Street Band, un groupe de jazz traditionnel aussi original qu’éclectique. Porté par un pianiste classique virtuose, un batteur rock et un clarinettiste de rue, le répertoire du groupe nous fait voyager des années 1920 aux années 1970.
- 18:00 - 19:00 : Place au blues dans sa forme la plus authentique avec les Canettes Blues Band, qui vous plongeront dans un univers où le groove et la bonne humeur règnent en maîtres.
- 19:50 - 20:30 : Le groupe genevois, Jo and the Fuzzy Blue, dont l’univers musical mêle soul, funk, blues, prendra place sur la Piazza, mené par la voix envoûtante de Jo.
- 22:20 - 00:00 : Pour clôturer la soirée en beauté, place à Miss Proper and the moving targets. Ce groupe, qui mêle énergie et humour, vous fera danser avec ses reprises déjantées de classiques rock et pop.
